Lolly Font Lolly Font, former director of California Yoga Center, is a certified Iyengar teacher and holds M.A. degrees in Education and Transpersonal Psychology. Larry Hatlett Larry Hatlett, founder of The Yoga Center of Palo Alto, has been teaching yoga since 1970. He received an Advanced Yoga Teaching Certificate from B.K.S. Iyengar in 1983 after studying extensively with him in India through the 1970s and 1980s. He has trained many teachers and developed many innovative yoga practices. Faranak Parsinejad Faranak Parsinejad, a graduate of the Iyengar Yoga Institute, has been teaching yoga since 2004 and is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher. Mimm Patterson Mimm Patterson has taught yoga since 1994. Vera Popova Vera Popova graduated from the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco and has been teaching since 2005. Vera's classes are energetic, thoughtful and give special attention to proper body alignment to help students on and off the yoga mat. Students who have never done yoga before, and those already practicing enjoy the experience, challenge, and aproach in her classes. Birgit Reimer has studied extensively with Ben Thomas. Her schedule includes regular asana and pranayama classes at area studios as well as yoga at the AARS (Asian American Recovery Service), private lessons, and workshops. Rose Richardson Rosie Richardson began studying Iyengar yoga in 1995 with Dean and Rebecca Lerner, and currently studies with and assists Elise Miller and Osha Hanfling. Richard Weinapple has been a dedicated, passionate, and joyful practitioner of yoga for 30 years. A student of Larry Hatlett since 1987, Richard trained in yoga instruction and philosophy at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco and at the Yoga Room in Berkeley, and has completed an intensive yoga teacher training with Tony Briggs at the Yoga Loft in San Francisco. Richard's classes are strongly influenced by 35 years of karate practice, during which he earned a Sandan (3rd degree black belt) granted by Sensei Tsutomu Ohshima of Shotokan Karate of America. Cora Wen Cora Wen has been teaching yoga workshops and retreats internationally since 1996, and is a dedicated student of Mahayana Buddhism. She has assisted Judith Hanson Lasater since 1998, and apprenticed with Erich Schiffmann and Rodney Yee through the 1990s. Cora blends the Iyengar method to bring attention to the subtle pranic body with a flowing practice to enliven the physical body. She is an ERYT500 with Yoga Alliance, and one of the first Advanced Relax & Renew trainers in restorative yoga.
