Learn basic yoga poses, yoga philosophy and the importance of the breath. This series is for students new to yoga or to Iyengar yoga. Class minimum is 8 students.
Fee is $65.
Yoga for Back Care: Introductory Series with Elise Miller

Learn classical and modified yoga poses to benefit back conditions such as lower back pain, disc disease, sciatica, upper back and neck tightness, or asymmetry in the body due to scoliosis or other minor imbalances. Class minimum is 8 students.
Fee is $80.
Yoga for Scoliosis with Elise Miller
Sunday September 26,
1:15 pm - 5:15 pm
This workshop is open to anyone who is currently a yoga student and is familiar with the basic poses to address their scoliosis. Teachers who have students with scoliosis are also welcome. Sunday session will emphasize more advanced standing poses, back strengtheners and backbends, inversions and twists. Adjustments and props will be used to assist participants to work with their own scoliosis.
This session will count towards completion of course requirement to become a Yoga for Scoliosis Trainer.

A weekend of yoga taught by Dean Lerner–Join Dean Lerner at California Yoga Center for an exciting weekend of yoga. Dean’s classes will inspire your practice and broaden your understanding of the depth of Yoga. Participants should have at least one year of yoga experience. Dean is a gifted teacher well rooted in both technique and philosophical application. An avid practitioner who has traveled to India many times to study with the Iyengars. Dean also co-directs the Center for Well-Being in Lemont, Pennsylvania. He leads intensive and teacher training workshops across the country, his teaching style is clear and concise while being comfortable and relaxed.
Dean is a longtime student of Shri B.K.S. Iyengar. He is past president of the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States (IYNAUS). His blend of keen perception and insight with a delightful sense of humor contribute to instruction that will satisfy and stretch you--body, mind and spirit. Dean resides and teaches in Pennsylvania and also teaches workshops around the world.
Fee all 3 days: $210 if paid by September 24 OR $230 after September 24.
